  • Review of 2D image optimization techniques
  • Advanced 3D/4D acquisitions, display and manipulation techniques in Ob/Gyn

      At the conclusion of the course attendees should be able to:

      • Adjust system presets for optimal anatomical visualization
      • Describe advanced 3D/4D concepts and current applications
      • Demonstrate proficiency of 3D/4D image acquisition, optimization, and advanced manipulations for pathological assessments
      • Execute techniques for post-processing of 3D/4D volumes
      • Manipulate 3D/4D volumes using 4D-View offline software
      • Explain the clinical benefits of incorporating 3D/4D volume imaging into your practice

    • Prerequisites

      This Voluson-user course is designed for sonographers and physicians who practice Ob/Gyn sonography and have an interest to update their knowledge and skills in 2D, 3D and 4D volume imaging. In this course, we discuss the principles of volume imaging and 3D/4D clinical applications primarily in the specialties of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Participants will apply learned image optimization and volume manipulation techniques during hands-on system training sessions using volume datasets and obstetric models.
